The Department of Administrative Services Welcomes New Executive Director, Jenney Rees

SALT LAKE CITY (Jan. 27, 2021) — The Department of Administrative Services (DAS) is pleased to welcome its newest Executive Director, Jenney Rees.  Rees appointed by Governor Cox to lead DAS on December 21st, 2020.  The original press release from the Office of the Lt. Governor can be found here.

Rees has extensive experience in a variety of fields.  For the last nine years she has served in city government for Cedar Hills, with the first six years on the city council and the last three as mayor.  Prior to this role, she spent much of her career working for startup companies here in Utah.  

When introducing herself, Rees stated, “I am excited to join the Cox/Henderson administration and the Department of Administrative Services. It is clear that DAS had a dedicated team of professionals who are passionate about serving the people of Utah. I am committed to continuing to develop a culture that not only values, but practices accountability, transparency, and integrity, and to honor the trust that the citizens of Utah have in their state government”.  DAS is pleased to have Jenney Rees’ leadership and looks forward to how she will build the agency in the coming years.
