DAS includes the following boards and commissions (divisions are identified as needed):
- Utah State Building Board (Facilities)
- Privatization Policy Board (Purchasing)
- Purchasing from People with Disabilities Advisory Board (Purchasing)
- Utah State Historical Records Advisory Board (Archives)
- Every state, including the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico, has a State Historical Records Advisory Board (SHRAB). Authorized under the National Historical Publications and Records Commission (NHPRC) regulations, SHRABs are responsible for reviewing grant proposals submitted to NHPRC from organizations in their states. - State Records Committee (Archives)
- The State Records Committee meets at least quarterly to approve the retentions and dispositions of record series generated by state and local government entities.
